Heavenly Father, we gather together and come into agreement in the wonderful and powerful Name of Jesus Christ.
Where two or more are gathered there You’ll be in the midst of us and anything we agree upon as touching You will surely do.
Father in Jesus Name, there is no distance in the spirit and we thank You for the person I am praying for who desires a prayer for getting someone back that they love into their life.

Almighty God, the person I am praying for admits that they made some mistakes in their relationship with their ex in the past.
That is why we're here right now praying for reconciliation with their ex.
Everything is placed before Your throne.
They are wondering if God wants them to get back with them.
You know they would like their soulmate back if it's Your will.
You already know whats going on and what happened.
You are all knowing.
They need a miracle to get the person they love back.
They want to know if praying for someone works.
Lord, the person I am praying for may have gotten off track.
They realize it now.
Now they're experiencing the consequences both their action and inaction.
They want to know how to slowly win their ex back.
They want to their broken relationship restored.
Father, in Jesus Name, they ask You to forgive them for not showing appreciation to their ex who is so precious to them.
Show them that it's okay to repent before You and seek Your mercy and forgiveness in all areas they fell short.
Your love is everlasting and thanks to Jesus, forgiveness is theirs!
Hallelujah!
Now that they are forgiven we place their lost relationship before You.
They want to restore it.
They want to reunite.
They want their special someone back in their life.
Only You can bring couples back together at the place and at the right time.
The truth is, You know the end from the beginning.
They want what You want for them for You know best.
Lord, true repentance and submission to Your plan for their life means they are willing to sacrifice this relationship if you ask them to.
If this relationship is not Your best we ask for Your grace and strength to part ways.
If it is Your best that the relationship be restored then we ask in agreement for Your supernatural help in Jesus Name.
Help the person I am praying for to reunite with their ex again.
Right now we bind the plans and strategies of the devil from further dividing this relationship.
We break all the enemy's plans and render them exposed and useless in Jesus Name.
We declare unity and restoration over this relationship.
We speak healing over this relationship in Jesus Name.
Father, please help them both to make a solid commitment to their relationship so they can be a real blessing to each other.
Show them how to nurture and grow together so that they're both stronger.
Guide them Holy Spirit to carry out the reconciliation process.
Please give them wisdom on how to approach connecting again.
We declare that the person I am praying for is strong and empowered by You inside of them.
We declare that they rise up in strength now knowing that You love them and only want the best for them.
You want them to have a successful relationship!
We cast the care of the restoration process on You.
Your will sincerely be done in this relationship.
Help the person I am praying for to enter into that promised rest of knowing You're working on their behalf right now.
You are working on bringing them back together right now.
We believe and receive everything we’ve prayed and give You glory in advance for this prayer is answered!

Can God Bring Someone Back Into Your Life?
The answer is an emphatic, "Yes"!
However, the process will likely not be easy and you need to be willing to allow God's will to come to pass. He knows best.
When two people split up, it's important to ask why? What happened and was it avoidable?
Now, don't spend forever thinking about it, just try to get some perspective.
Cast your brokenness into God's hands and trust Him to work out the details. He's the God who parted the Red Sea. Remember that.
If it's meant to be, God will work all things together for good in your life. You need not worry. He can bring someone you love back to you. No matter what you see with your eyes or feel in your heart, trust God to heal and restore you.
And take time to pray for the other person. Don't spend too much time praying for them if it hinders you from moving on though.
It's important to be humble in this moment and patient. This is an important moment, as well as painful.
If God does bring your someone back into your life, don't stop seeking Him. In fact, you should seek the Lord even more. He should be Number 1 in your life and relationships, period.
A relationship with God at the center is always fruitful.
Here's a quick suggestion on how to pray when you've broken up with somebody.
- Read God a scripture (eg 1 Peter 5:7, Romans 8:28, etc)
- Open up the prayer with praise and thanksgiving (mention what you're thankful for in life and praise Him for it)
- Ask for forgiveness and ask for God's will (He knows best and His plan for your life is amazing - Jeremiah 29:11)
- Say what you think you need/want
- Always pray around scriptures in faith (eg Lord, I know that all things will work together for good in my life according to Romans 8:28)
- End the prayer with praise and thanksgiving (trusting God that He is already at work to bring the right person at the right time into your life)
How Do You Pray To Get Someone Back
It's one of the hardest things in life to experience. When a relationship with your ex ends and the person your heart longed for is not going to be in your life anymore.
Most people at this point will let the relationship go and walk away.
However, I want to suggest to you not to be so quick to do so. This relationship with your ex might just be God's best for you and He just needs to work some things out.
The key is say a prayer and ask God to work out the relationship if it's His best. Believe He has heard you and thank Him every time you think of it thereafter.
Simply but not easy.
1 Peter 5:7 instructs us to cast our cares on God because He cares for us. Mark 9:23 says that nothing is impossible to those who believe. God can work a miracle in your life between you and your ex.
If you are in a broken relationship right now, be encouraged. Remember that the Lord instructs you to come to Him and ask for mercy and grace in time of need. Go down on your knees in prayer and ask God to bring your partner back into your life and to heal your relationship, in Jesus Name.
God can do the impossible so believe Him for it. Believe it or not, a short prayer made in faith can change your life forever.
Should I Pray For My Ex?
Have you ever wondered if you should keep praying for someone you love who left your life? Even if you sense that doing so would hinder your healing and slow you down from moving on?
God's Word instructs us to pray about everything and not to cease. However, if praying continually for an ex partner is causing you to hinder your progress towards recovery, it might not be the best to continue.
Yes, we should always pray for the betterment of others and walk in love. That's clear.
As Christians, we know that the Word of God tells us to pray about every circumstance we encounter and to continue to pray about it. However, be aware that continuing to pray for your lost love may lead to trouble if it is hindering you from walking out restoration and healing.
Look, if your breakup was bad and turned out terribly because of abuse, unfaithfulness, etc, then yes, pray. If the breakup from your ex was due to long distance and there just wasn't enough invested in the relationship to help it work, then yes, pray. Seek God to see if the relationship is part of His plan. If it is, it's worth fighting for.
Stay balanced and be willing to hear Him say that the bumpiness has been due to the relationship being outside His will.
Here are some questions you can ask and pray about when you want your ex back.
- Why is the relationship not working out?
- Why I am really praying about the other person?
- Where was this relationship going?
- Is God behind this relationship
Praying for someone you love who left your life should never just be about what you can get. Genuinely try to put yourself in their shoes and pray for their brokenness, healing, and happiness. As you do so, God will look after your healing and restoration. Once it's complete, you'll have a proper perspective to see if it's worth going after the relationship again because God is good.
What Does God Say About Breakups?
When our hearts are broken, it can feel like nothing will ever make things better. However, there is power within the Word of God and that means the Lord is right there with you to help carry you through to healing.
God's love can restore and heal any broken heart.
Sure, it will likely feel that reading scriptures or spending time with God won't fix anything but, doing so really can help you through some of your most difficult times.
Don't fall for the lie that healing through reading the Bible only comes to the person who is strong in their walk with God. No. All the Lord needs is for you to run into His open arms.
Now, chances are that you're feeling pain and you likely feeling alone. I just want to encourage you that God is always there to see you through.
So, to help you on the road to recovering after splitting with your ex, here are a few more Bible scripture verses to meditate on and allow to root in your heart.
Jeremiah 29:11
"'For I know the plans I have for you,' declares the Lord, 'plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.’”
Life may not make sense at the moment for you. However, God’s plans are always good and they are always about seeing you prosper in every area of life, including your relationships.
Philippians 4:6-7
“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."
When you cast your broken heart on the Lord, He will provide you with a supernatural peace.
Matthew 11:28
“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.”
Having a broken heart can wear you down but, when you cast your cares on God, He gives you all the support you need to overcome and heal.

Dear God, I ask that you please bring my ex-girlfriend back. Over time I took things for granted and I turned bitter. I said things I didn’t mean, and got caught up in daily life and stresses. Like a mutually beneficial situation. Pray she can become a true Christian and that we can get back together as soon as possible. She has a rough situation, even pray that she could somehow come to live with us & that God will help us to remain pure and abstain from fornication. I have a feeling her mother could be a big part of why our relationship failed. Please pray that her mom will soften her heart towards me and will accept this relationship. I hear you. I said mean and evil things to a woman I wanted as a friend to run her off because I was infatuated and was losing my mind to the point my family thought I was losing my mind as well. She was just opening up to me and much younger a sweetheart. But her mom was infatuated with me and I felt played. And I was angry at her mom using her daughter to bring me over and kept at arms length until her mom wanted me over. Having things just right. I was so angry I offended her Faith and totally lost it. And like a boomerang it hit me back and killed my spirit. And she was just then opening up to a true friendship. Which is all I really wanted. You rarely come across someone that could be a soulmate. Maybe once or twice in life for me. And I threw it away over bitterness torwards bitterness at her mom. Probably misplaced because I had already gone through a bitter relationship with someone I only wanted a friendship with that has hounded me for years knowing I had no interest in them. I know this woman was pure and delighted and shared real things with me. But I couldn’t control my and and needed to get my head straight.
So I’m moving on and focusing on things I’ve neglected for years. And it’s the worst pain I have felt since my wife died. And I caused it. So I need a miracle.
I wanted to be blocked because I couldn’t think straight. But I can’t undo what I have done and it hurts. Even worse because I knew what I was doing. A bitter root. Praising god in the storm. Casting crowns. Salvation is the most important thing and god works all things to the good of those that love him and anyway it has gotten me sober and focused on god again. I’ve been running from him since my wife died. And only a true love for this woman has caused enough hurt for me to turn to god again.
Tears today but trusting Jesus through it all. And will just get on with my life. There is no convincing no way to talk my way out no action that will undo what I have done and I know it.

Hi, please pray for my ex (SO) and i to reconcile. Our relationship was great until we stopped communicating, got into a comfortable spot within 7 years and things just kept boiling up inside but not spoken. My partner decided to walk away from the relationship, leaving me shocked and heartbroken. We still love each other though, but for my partner is hard to not see the “bad” times and focus on the good times. Please pray for the restoration of my relationship with my best friend. We don’t even talk anymore. It has been about 6 months, and I haven’t heard from him in 3. God has given me lots of time to get better with the problems I was causing in our relationship, but I’m not sure he’s been getting any better and I pray he does. If it’s God’s will that we get back together please pray we do, at least as friends for starters. Please pray for my situation. I was in a short term relationship. About 2-3 months. I have been in multiple relationships in the past that did not match with me or they were unbelievers. I truly believe this relationship was was different although short lived. We prayed together, had great communication, and other aspects in our life was very similar. Confession time!!! I want to come clean. I lost my love of 7 years due to Hurricame Katrina. We evacuated to Br, n things started happening especially for me. I grew angry. His cousin invited us into her home until we got things in order. Ok…..fast forward he moved bk to N.O. so he could go bk or work. I didn’t want him to leave but he did. I understood why. Ok, I remained n Br, started a new life had nothing to go bk home total lost. We agreed he would come down on the weekends and he did, but I selfishly grew apart from him but not apart from him. If that makes since…speeding things up he stopped coming on the weekends, but we still talked on the phone…I longed for God being in a new town. I didn’t know anyone. Confusion, worry, street, set n quickly robbed me of all happiness. I moved from by the cousin into my own place, met the maintenance( oh lawd) man whom I informed more than once I wasn’t intrested, but he pursed me even more, ended up with him being displaced no friends just lost and lost touch with my ex. Our conversations were less and less. The new guy i met was me and i was was him, my ex. God had to reveal me to me but through another person. “Karma Is real.” He showed me how I messed up something and someone that was soooo good to me. I reached out to him years later to ask him to please forgive me after being with someone verbally abusive and mildly physically abusive. I quickly realized I messed up big time.I was the one who had zero to no patience at all. I was foolish but in the process,saying bad things about him as we all do, i never considered his feelings at all not once, just mine, never asked his opinion or nothing and I should have. He loved me, when I didn’t know love, or self love.But he kept displaying it. I just would over look it. Years has passed but he hasn’t hes been on my mind and constantly in my dreams. And my daughter started having the same dreams that he had come back for me. Just yesterday he appeared 12/6/20. Would I love to have him back yes!!! Today or tmro. I left my ex fiance about to go on 1 1/2 years. We have been together for about 11 years. We both got baptized and attend the same church. I left her cause she found out with her own eyes through text that I was cheating on her. At that time we were not baptized, she was doing bible studies and so was I but I was in it halfway. I didn’t mean to cheat on her but the devil had a grip on me, I felt neglected and wanted attention, her attention was to the friend that she had. So I guess the devil took advantage and placed another woman in my path. I fell for it cause all I wanted was attention. I felt neglected not knowing that me feeling neglected made me neglect her. Then the lies started to come with the cheating. We still talk from time to time but it’s basically short and brief. She says that she stopped loving me, carrying for me, and that she’s interested and seeing someone else basically she saying that she has moved on. She calls me or texts me when she needs help with certain things for example: car issues, food for our kids, etc. I love her and still in love with her deeply and also I care for her. I would like God to show her that I’m still here for her which I am financially and when she’s arguing with her side of the family. Ive been sacricing myself financially for her just so she don’t have to be backed up in bills and things like that. I know how I went about things left her heart broken and unsecured with herself. It’s been almost 3 months since my boyfriend broke up with me. And ever since, I am in pain continuously. I begged him 3-4 times to forgive me for I was not here for him when he needed it (even though he did not express it) because for once I put my education before him. And he rejected me every time. The only problem was we had to do long distance starting when COVID hit, and he had a bad experience with long distance in the past. He broke up with me a week after I visited. Dear Father, I am completely heartbroken on so many levels. I am thankful for this opportunity to open my heart, send you my love and attention, and to also pray for my now ex. My soulmate and beautiful partner and woman Jenny officially left me today after being in a 5 year relationship. God brought me the love of my life for two years. My soul felt complete, and we never had any issues aside from him being a widower. We were happy together, highly compatible, and in love. Please help me in prayer, my boyfriend and I have been dating for 2years going to 3years now, when we started, we had it like about 3months later then we broke up! After like a month again he came back to me I accepted him because I love him so much and we made promise to ourselves never to leave each other again, things were moving fine for us until last year 2020 during the pandemic, it was like a war for the both of us though I wasn’t seeing it that way because I believe in every ship there are always ups and downs we were having a misunderstanding almost all the time and I’m always the cause of every problem we have. And even knowing fully well that am the one at fault, my boyfriend will still try to make peace, he tried all his best to make things work but, I didn’t do enough to help the our ship. We first started talking in June 2019 and Officially started dating in October 2019 1 week after the best night of my life (Homecoming).. I don’t even know if I should ask you to pray for me, but your prayer is speaking for my heart which I could not address it myself. I had to leave my boyfriend 7 years ago and moved back to my hometown, it devastated him and I left with a lot of guilt. For the next 6 years, neither of us could not let go of each other, but it was impossible to maintain the relationship due to long distance and many other reasons. I decided to move on and almost forgot about him early last year, and I prayed to God for the Mr. Right in my life. Then he reappeared. We confessed we both still loved each other a lot. We tried to do LD for a bit, but then for about two months he walked away. I don’t know if this was a revenge from him to dumb me or something happened. Anyway, I tried to remain friends with him. Please keep me in prayer as I continue to pray the Lord guide my ex and I back to one another. I ended the relationship with her after a year of feeling distant from her with the pandemic and small avoidable arguments. I was dealing with some emotional depression and didn’t want her to see or feel it as she had just gotten over it herself. This is the woman I prayed to God about prior to our relationship 4 years ago and he showed me she was my wife and showed her that I was her husband. I know I took that for granted and thought she’d always be here. I said some mean things during my depression that I deeply regret and want to take back. We’re still loves each other so much but I hurt her and she pushed me away for good. I couldn’t handle live forward move on without her in our lifetime. I’m heavy sadden…. I need a help and get myself better improve that where I can get her back and give me second chance I’ll be better a lot for us in the future. I truly love her so so much. I come to you extremely humbled. My ex and I were together for almost 2 1/2 years. I love her more than anything and I know she loved me. I was never unfaithful but I didn’t put back into the relationship what I was taking. Over time we grew distant and eventually 2 months ago separated. It has been my biggest regret to ever agree to the breakup. I would do anything to get her back. The last time we talked she said she doesn’t love me anymore. It’s just so hard to accept after everything we had previously been through and we were at one point pre planning a wedding together, and since the break up I’ve been showing her that I’m changing for the better, showering her with the love and affection she craved while we were together, and knowing that I didn’t put forth the effort she deserved, I can see where I fell short. I lost my first husband in a motor accident 19years ago. We have a daughter together who is now 19. I moved to the US after my loss and met my ex husband who was verbally abusive. We have 2 kids together After my divorce 41/2 years ago, I started dating My boyfriend whom I have known for 33years. I wanted to start by saying: may God bless you in your ministry because through you God is helping many people.
My ex boyfriend and I have known each other for almost 7 years and have been a couple for 3.
We are both christians. We have a lot of love and respect of each other and during these 7 years we share a lot of laugh and I have so much great memories with him and i love hom so much. I prayed so many times and God revealed to me that he was the one.
But my ex had a lot of problems he was in (legal) trouble. He absolutely wanted to protect me and said he didn’t want to cause me any problems, that I deserved better in my life etc. and he broke up with me. since then he wanted to put me off him so I wouldn’t have any feelings for him.
I prayed for his salvation, I fasted and God told me that I had to heal first before anything else so I deleted him and stopped having contact with him. I rebuilt myself with God and recently for 2 weeks I had calls from God telling me that I should contact him again. Which I did and to my great surprise he no longer has any legal problems and has left this life (I had never stopped praying). However, he doesn’t feel worthy of praying because of his past so he prays for others but never for himself.
We kept talking and he told me he wanted to get back in touch with me so we could be back together. But I confessed to him that I’d been seeing someone else, but that it stopped before I sent him a message (he’d also had several people but that was sexual, which I’m still having trouble swallowing) and he was disgusted that I’d had this “fling” with this person. And he told me that because of that he find it hard to get back with me.
I pray for his salvation, for him to feel the love God has for him. For god to help us see where we been, wrong what we did wrong, for god to restore us seperatly and then as a couple and to reveal to us who are the spirits that are against our relationship. and also What are the things that block this restauration or what I lik e to say renovation (because i feel like saying restoration means that the bad stuff are going to be restored).
OH and also I pray for me to believe that he can really change.
