Prayer That Who You Once Were Is Not Who You Are Now

Welcome to the prayer that who you once were is not who you are now.

This is a prayer Iโ€™ve put together where I would like to pray for anyone within the sound of my voice.

All I ask you to do, is to agree with me as I pray, and together we will seek our Heavenly Father.

Let us prayโ€ฆ

Heavenly Father, we gather together and come into agreement in the wonderful and powerful Name of Jesus Christ.

Where two or more are gathered there Youโ€™ll be in the midst of us and anything we agree upon as touching You will surely do.

Father in Jesus Name, there is no distance in the spirit and we thank You for the person I am praying for who desires a prayer that who they once were is not who they are now.

Father, we ask for a fresh touch of Your love that would sweep across their heart right now.

Touch them Lord and remind them of Your unending mercy and forgiveness through Christ.

I ask You to please give them wisdom, revelation, and understanding about who they are in Your Son!

Your awesome plan of redemption effectively caused old things to pass away and all things to become new for them in Jesus!

Through Your everlasting mercy, they were crucified with Christ.

He took their unrighteousness and gave them His!

Hallelujah! Glory forever and ever!

Lord, remind them that when they accepted that exchange, their spirit was in that very moment recreated by the unmatched Life of Christ.

Yes, that Life filled them and made them a brand New Creation in Christ!

With their life hidden in Christ, the old โ€˜themโ€™ is gone!

Their body now is the dwelling place of Your Spirit!

Their past is gone!

Their past is forgiven!

Their body does not have the right to dictate their attitude, actions, or appetites!

In Jesus Name, the person I am praying for is set free and they reckon their body dead.

They are forever new because of You Lord!

In agreement, we ask You to please help them to walk in the newness of this life, Lord.

They want to be an instrument You can use to demonstrate the reality of the life of Christ inside of them!

We decree and declare that they exuberantly confess that they are absolutely not who they once were!

We decree and declare, in this very moment of prayer, that they are a new creature in Christ Jesus!

The person Christ has made them to be now is their new identity. Hallelujah!

We praise You that they are forever alive to You Lord because of what Christ has done for them!

They are not the person they used to be.

The old person who once lived is gone and chosen to be forgotten by You Father, forever.

The new person I am praying for is free of their former identity, free of their past for all eternity!

The person they once were, is not who they are now!

We believe and receive everything weโ€™ve prayed and give You glory in advance for this prayer is answered!

In the wonderful and precious Name of Jesus we pray, amen.

But what does it say? โ€œThe word is near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart,โ€[a] that is, the message concerning faith that we proclaim: 9 If you declare with your mouth, โ€œJesus is Lord,โ€ and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved. – Romans 10:8-10
