It’s Only a Matter Of Time

TODAY'S TEACHING
That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death;
- Philippians 3:10
The more time someone spends with God, the more apparent it becomes.
Peace rises up from within you, joy fills your heart, and you are comforted in any storm.
Quality time spent with God always pays off.
You start to grow in your awareness of what is truly on His heart.
You recognize more and more clearly what He likes and what He doesn't.
Just like time spent with a friend, as you invest in communing with God, the more like Him you become.
Quality time in His presence causes you to become more passionate and purposeful in all that You do.
One thing you'll notice is that you will become more sensitive to whether your thoughts and actions please Him.
Your conscience becomes even more aware if anything you're doing grieves Him.
And if you do stumble, you become quick to repent and seek forgiveness.
Staying on the path of consistently seeking to please God and following His will becomes even more important to you.
Today's scripture reveals Paul's heart towards God.
Even after all the time he had already walked with Him, he still desired to know God more.
Similarly, in Exodus 33:13, we find that Mose's biggest desire was that He wanted to become more intimately acquainted with God.
Despite all the amazing things Moses had seen, what he wanted most of all was to know God more tenderly.
I pray that knowing God is the desire of your heart.
You can know Him and walk with Him even more closely today than you did yesterday.
It's up to you, and all it takes is a daily decision.
Decide today to spend even more quality time with God.
Make time in His presence your number one priority, no matter what.
It's never too late to seek God more in your life.
Start today, and over time, as you draw near to Him, He will always draw near to you.
Over time, persistently seeking God transforms your relationship with Him from a distant acquaintance to a close Friend and Father.
If this resonates with you, here's a short prayer you can say today:
"Heavenly Father, thank You for the precious moments I share in Your presence. By spending time with You, I know I will draw nearer to Your heart and experience Your love in a deeper way. Help me to prioritize these moments with You above all else, for it is in Your presence that I find true joy and peace."
God bless you!

You are still worldly. For since there is jealousy and quarreling among you, are you not worldly? Are you not acting like mere humans?
