One Word From God Changes Everything

Over the years I've found that God's peace accompanies His instructions when He speaks to us.
There may be times when everyone around us is telling us that it's going to be okay and that God will come through, but we just can't get it settled in our hearts.
We just can't see how He's going to do it.
And as a result, fear takes that opportunity to try and flood our hearts and minds.
Even our closest friends and family are saying that it will all work out, but we can't seem to find our footing and trust God like we usually do.
It isn't until we get a word from God in our hearts that His peace arrives.
It's as if we hear Him deep within ourselves say, "Trust Me. I'm working everything out for you."
One morning back in 2019 I received an email from YouTube saying my channel had been suspended.
This was a notice that came out of nowhere.
The ministry had always abided by their rules and regulations.
I was confused, defeated, and completely caught off-guard.
Fear grabbed hold of me immediately because there was no way in which to contact someone from YouTube about what happened (a problem many creators still face today).
At that point in the ministry, it had been 4 years of uploading prayer videos and I had put all my heart and soul into it.
Truthfully, it was really tough for me to think about anything else for the rest of the day.
Just when I thought I had placed it all in God's hands, I was back to worrying about what I was going to do.
Fear kept hitting me like a freight train.
It didn't matter who tried to reassure me, I continually battled to resist fear and trust God.
Then, one moment the following day, God spoke to my heart and said, "Dan, I've got this. Trust Me."
He went on to remind me of Isaiah 26:3 that says He'll keep me in perfect peace when I keep my mind on Him.
After that one word from God, the paralyzing fear lost its hold on me.
Sure, I was a bit unsure as I waited to see what would happen with YouTube because I knew they had made a mistake, but I was not terrified.
I knew everything was in God's hands and whatever happened, He already had a plan because unlike me, this didn't catch Him off-guard.
As it turned out, YouTube unsuspended my channel just a couple of days later due to a technical glitch (likely an automated process that incorrectly flagged my account).
Needless to say, I ended up being thankful instead of fearful, and grateful instead of panicked.
Thanks to hearing that one word from God, His peace overtook me and held me in place.
And from that moment, I knew I was not alone.
I knew God was on my side, and He was for me, not against me.
I knew He was working while I was waiting.
And that's what can happen in any situation when we learn to get quiet and hear God's voice.
One word from God really can change everything.
So, trust Him.
Refuse to give into fear.
Remember the faithful promises He has packed into His Word.
Believe Him in the face of impossibility.
He won't let you down.
