Step Out In Faith and Find Out
TODAY'S TEACHING
For a great door and effectual is opened unto me, and there are many adversaries. - 1 Corinthians 16:9
There are moments in life where all we can do is step out in faith and find out if we're going in the right direction.
We've prayed as best we know how, and it's time to make the decision to move forward.
One of the things I do if I have prayed about something and still do not know exactly what to do is I just take a small step.
I choose a direction that seems to have the most peace and slowly move forward.
Think of an automatic door at a store.
If you stop just before the door, it remains closed.
However, we have to take a step forward in order to trigger the motion sensor that opens the door.
There are times in our lives when we have to step out in faith and find out if we're heading in the right direction.
There are doors that open right away, and then there are doors that will never open because they are not a part of God's plan for us.
Whenever God opens a door, trust Him and go through it in faith.
If the door remains closed, then let that be a signal to pray and seek Him for further instructions because He likely has another direction for you to go.
Never allow fear to keep you trapped in the paralysis of analysis.
Don't allow yourself to stay in a place where you take no action.
It's interesting that in today's scripture, it says that the door of opportunity Paul was to go through had adversaries on the other side.
That's a lesson that teaches us that we need to be sure not to allow opposition to deceive us into thinking a door is closed.
When we have prayed and genuinely sought God's will, we need to step in the direction we feel is right, even if we recognize an adversary.
If you follow the stories of Paul's travels in the Word of God, you will see doors God opened and doors He closed.
Don't allow a closed door or opposition on the other side of an open door to discourage you.
Keep moving forward in faith, actively seeking what God wants you to do in every moment.
He has promised to lead you by His Holy Spirit.
Remember, no one but Jesus has perfected this.
It's all part of learning to walk with God, one step of faith at a time.
Are you ready?
If you are, walk boldly through open doors in your life and never allow a closed door to set you back.
God loves you, and He is always leading you to the right place at the right time.
If this resonates with you, here's a short prayer you can say today:
"Heavenly Father, I ask You for the strength and courage to step out in faith and trust in Your perfect plan for my life. Help me to let go of my own understanding and lean on Your wisdom and guidance, knowing that You will never lead me astray. Open the doors I need to walk through, and close the doors I need to avoid. In Jesus Name, amen."
God bless you!
Your brother in Christ,

Scripture Of The Week
You became imitators of us and of the Lord; in spite of severe suffering, you welcomed the message with the joy given by the Holy Spirit.
โ1 Thessalonians 1:6
I keep reading in God’s Word and hear in messages that it is impossible to please God without faith. As a believer who recommitted my life about 6 weeks ago I am trying to align my life to the will and Word of God. I am finding that I am having to rely on God for wisdom on how to be a good steward of my finances, to how to honor God and worship Him rightly, and being obedient and stepping out (even speaking to strangers) and doing what He tells me to do. This article was a blessing. I do feel like my faith is being stretched. After reading the article I felt a sense of peace and joy/excitement knowing that I get to walk on this earth with Holy Spirit. What an honor!
Amen and amen. God is good. Blessings to you.
