Praying when we are frustrated is something we all go through. It's an emotion that comes sweeping into any situation, sometimes when we least expect it.

We can see in scripture that even God was angry and upset with His people (Deuteronomy 9:8, Exodus 15:7, Numbers 11:1-2). 

As children of God, carefully crafted in His image, we can have feelings of hurt and discontentment too.

It's okay to be annoyed and irritated.

However, there is a fine line between good and bad anger.

Righteous indignation or anger can come when we see evil prevailing in a situation, the enemy coming against our prayers, and other such situations. We are simply mad at something or someone violating the will of God.

On the other hand, getting upset and walking in sin happens when we go against the Bible and step over into sin. 

Sinning against God because we are angry gives the enemy a foothold into our life. 

Life happens and when it does feelings come with it.

There are many reasons we can get sinfully mad. It could be because of our pride or any number of reasons.

What matters most is that we don't allow it to take root in our heart because it can hinder our prayers and ultimate our relationship with God. 

With the help of the Holy Spirit, the frustration prayers below will help you live in victory through Christ when your emotions try to get the best of you.

Prayer For Deliverance From Frustration and Anger

Father, I can see in Your Word that even You were angry at times. I know that I am created in Your image and that emotions are a part of who I am. I recognize that being upset and letting it get the best of me is not what You want for me.

I don't want to wander away from You because I allowed my feelings to take over. I want You to be lead by You. Holy Spirit, please help me to remove that spirit of anger from my life. With Your supernatural deliverance, I can be set free from being upset. I can step into a place of peace and quiet.

Please calm me down right now. I cast my cares on You. I release any negative feeling that is within my soul right now. Frustration does not dominate me because I am free in Christ! Bitterness has no place in my heart or in my life to any degree.

I put my foot down and I stand on Your Word. I am making a choice right here and now to walk in love. I choose to let love rule my heart, in Jesus Name. Amen.

Prayer For Overcoming The Spirit Of Frustration

Dear Lord, I worship and praise You. There is none like You. You are awesome and wonderful! All that my eyes can see, You created with Your amazing power. No one can come against You! Nothing can stand in Your presence that is evil!

I come before You right now and ask You to help me overcome the spirit of frustration. Empower me, in Jesus Name, to put out that fire of anger and rage within me. 

I look to You as my Comforter and my Refuge. I grab hold of Your peace and hang onto it with all my might. May it overflow within me and permeate every area of my life right now.

Please take my hand and lead me through this situation right now. Grant me wisdom, revelation, and understanding so that I might know what to do. 

I want to be quick to hear. I want to be slow to speak and to become frustrated. I want to control anger and not have it dominate me.

I rest in Your faithfulness and trust that You are showing me the way. Your Word is a light to my feet and light to my path!

Praise Your wonderful Name and thank You for Your deliverance from bitterness, anxiety, and any other negative emotion.

I raise my hands to You in sweet surrender knowing You are working on my situation. Amen

Prayer To Set Free From Being Frustrated At Work

Dear Lord, this world can feel like a rollercoaster with all its ups and downs. There is so much turmoil and anger in this world. 

I look to You, my Father, because I am having challenges at work. I cry out to You as my Strengthener and my Source for everything.

I place all that is happening at the workplace and making me frustrated in Your capable hands. All the anguish, backbiting, lying, gossip, deception, any and everything has been given to You.

I ask for strength, protection, and wisdom to navigate the circumstances I am facing at my job. With You on my side, I can stay in a place of peace.

I believe that even now You are working on the issues. I pray for grace and love to overflow at work. I pray that darkness is pushed out by the light. I declare that was is secret is brought to the light.

I bind and rebuke every lie and deception, in Jesus Name!

I speak forth healing and restoration over those I work with.

Help me to walk in love. I want to see the people and the situations like You do. I trust in You Lord, and rest in Your faithfulness.

Thank You for protecting me! No weapon formed against me shall prosper. All things will work together for good because I love You and I am called according to Your purpose and plan.

As I spend time with You and in Your Word, discontentment and resentfulness must leave. Irritation and annoyance cannot take root.

Praise You for working everything out!

You are faithful. You are in control.

How do you pray against the spirit of anger and frustration?

When you come against the spirit of anger, resentment, and frustration you need to pray with authority. Bind and rebuke that spirit in the Name of Jesus. Open up God's Word and read scriptures about peace and hope. Allow the Spirit of God to permeate every part of your being and your situation. Anger, bitterness, and frustration will have to leave. They cannot stand in God's presence.
