Prayer To Overcome Fear and Anxiety | Short Prayer Against Fear
Welcome to the prayer to overcome fear and anxiety.
This is simply a prayer I’ve put together where I would like to pray for anyone within the sound of my voice.
All I ask you to do, is to agree with me as I pray, and together we will seek our Heavenly Father.
Please continue to meditate on this prayer for yourself.
Speak it daily or listen to this over and over again and allow the Word of God to reach deep into your spirit.
Let us pray…
Heavenly Father, we gather together and come into agreement in the wonderful and powerful Name of Jesus.
Where two or more are gathered there You’ll be in the midst of us and anything we agree upon as touching You will surely do.
The Bible says that if there is any unforgiveness that it should be dealt with before praying.
Therefore we release any anger, bad feelings, resentment or any other wrong attitude before You now.
We lay it at Your feet and we release and forgive those who have wronged us.
Father in Jesus Name, there is no distance in the spirit and we thank You for the listener who desires a prayer to overcome fear and anxiety.

Father during a time of trouble or calamity it is sometimes difficult to remember Your promises.
It seems like there is trouble on every side.
The pressures that the listener is feeling right now may seem overwhelming.
It may seem like they cannot handle anymore!
Any more pressure and it may feel like their life is going to collapse.
Lord, we praise You in this moment!
Thank You for Your Word which brings with it hope, faith, patience and so much more.
Praise You for Psalm 91!
Praise You that when things get tough the listener can run to You for help, strength, protection and deliverance!
Hallelujah!
Right now, together, we acknowledge You as the listener’s refuge and high tower.
You are their Source!
You are a refuge and a stronghold in these times of trouble that they may be facing!
We thank You that during this time of trouble You hide the listener in Your shelter.
In the secret place of Your tent will You hide the listener!
Yes Lord!
You set them high upon a rock.
They are set above the turmoil they are facing!
We glorify and praise You that the listener’s head is lifted up above the trouble they face round about them.
Praise You!
We lift You up and shout for joy!
We praise Your Name!
Father, we know that You hear this prayer.
In Jesus Name we ask for mercy and grace for the listener.
On the authority of Your Word we declare that the listener has been made the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus!
As a result we thank You that You hear us and deliver the listener out of all our distresses and troubles.
Father, there may be numerous obstacles the listener faces but You deliver them out of them all through Jesus!
In Jesus Name we bind the turmoil that is thundering around the listener and command it to cease and be still!
We command it go now!
We decree and declare peace and clarity in Jesus Name!
Praise You Lord for Your deliverance!

The listener takes refuge in and finds shelter and confidence in You.
You are their deliverer!
You are fighting their battle!
Yes in the shadow of Your wings they take refuge and they are confident until the calamities and the storms they are facing have passed.
Praise Your Name!
You perform on the listener’s behalf and reward them!
What a blessing!
You bring to pass Your purposes for them and surely You complete them.
Glory!
Father You are the listener’s refuge and strength.
They lean on You and put their trust completely in You!
You are an ever present help in time of trouble.
Thank You for Your faithfulness!
Even now You’re working!
Thank You that You’ve given the listener Your peace.
We bind peace around them right now.
Peace that passes all understanding. A supernatural peace that covers them and permeates their entire life!
Hallelujah!
Father, by Your grace they will not let their heart be troubled neither will they let it be afraid.
We bind and rebuke the spirit of fear right now!
We give you no right to latch onto the listener! Go now in Jesus Name!
Thank You Lord that You’ve not given the listener a spirit of fear but of love, power, and a sound mind!
We call the listener empowered by the Holy Spirit inside them to stop allowing themselves to be anxious, fearful or agitated.
In Jesus Name they refuse to be fearful and intimidated!
They refuse to back down in fear and be cowardly and unsettled!
We declare that they stand strong in Jesus Christ!
We praise You Lord!
God, the listener rejoices right now knowing that pressure and affliction that they may be facing produce patient and unswerving endurance in their life.
That’s what Your Word says!
And endurance and fortitude develops maturity of character!
And character produces joyful and confident hope of eternal salvation!
And such hope never disappoints!

We declare that all things work together for good in the life of the listener because they love You and are called according to Your purpose and led by the Holy Spirit!
Yes, we trust that You’re already working things out!
You are for the listener so what can mere man do to them?
Praise You!
Thank You for peace of mind and heart for the listener!
And the peace You gave isn’t fragile like the peace the world gives!

As the listener goes from here help the listener to castaway fearful thoughts.
To stop those negative thoughts in their tracks and refuse to think them.
To replace those bad thoughts with thoughts of victory thanks to Jesus!
To see themselves winning the battle in their mind because Jesus is standing with them!
They are not alone!
They are never alone!

Lord You are the listener’s light and their salvation!
You protect them from danger whom shall they fear?
No matter what the listener is facing we are confident that You’ve saved them!
Their trust is in You!
The listener has overcome fear and anxiety through the power of Jesus!
We believe and receive everything we prayed and give You glory in advance for this prayer is answered!
In the wonderful and precious Name of Jesus we pray, amen.
