Prayer Against The Temptation To Rejoice At Another Person’s Hardships

Prayer against the temptation to rejoice at another person's hardships.

Welcome to the prayer against the temptation to rejoice at another person’s hardships.

This is a prayer I’ve put together where I would like to pray for anyone within the sound of my voice.

All I ask you to do, is to agree with me as I pray, and together we will seek our Heavenly Father.

Let us pray…

Heavenly Father, we gather together and come into agreement in the wonderful and powerful Name of Jesus Christ.

Where two or more are gathered there You’ll be in the midst of us and anything we agree upon as touching You will surely do.

Father in Jesus Name, there is no distance in the spirit and we thank You for the person I am praying for who desires a prayer against the temptation to rejoice at another person’s hardships.

Father, we come together in agreement and ask You for divine help for them to overcome those moments when the temptation to be happy over another’s suffering comes over them.

Please forgive them for responding in a way that is not walking in the love that has already been shed abroad in their heart by the Holy Spirit.

They raise their hand and admit that it is a challenge for them not to be happy when they hear that a person who has brought about pain in their past has stumbled.

Inside they rejoice and they know this is unpleasing to You.

This is not how You want them to live and they are here now, praying with me, to start the process to change that.

Holy Spirit, please empower them to overcome this and to instead, respond the way Jesus would for every person who is encountering any kind of trial or tribulation.

We decree and declare that they are overcoming the temptation to rejoice at another person’s hardship through the power of the Holy Spirit within them.

We decree and declare that they are only blessed when they see someone else moving up in life.

Thank You that when they hear about someone from their past stumbling and even falling, they are quick to be prayerful about the situation.

Praise You that even now Your supernatural love is rewiring the inside of the person I am praying for!

Glory!

When someone who may have wronged them in the past steps into a blessing they are genuinely happy for them.

Your love abounds in their heart!

We believe and receive everything we’ve prayed and give You glory in advance for this prayer is answered!

In the wonderful and precious Name of Jesus we pray, amen.
