What God says about exes?

God's Word is clear on the matter of exes.

Though humans may struggle with letting go of past relationships, God instructs us to move forward in Him.

In Matthew 5:31-32, Jesus affirms that divorce is only allowed in cases of sexual immorality (let the Holy Spirit lead you in your specific relationship).

This means that once a marriage has ended, it may not God's intention for the couple to reunite again.

In 1 Corinthians 7:15, Paul teaches that if an unbelieving spouse desires to leave and does so, the believer should let them go and not try to hold onto the relationship.

This includes the idea of trying to reconcile with an unbelieving ex who has already moved on.

Instead of dwelling on past relationships, God calls us to focus on Him and His plan for our lives.

To trust His will, knowing He knows best (if it is in His plan to reunite you then He will).

In Philippians 3:13-14, Paul encourages us to forget what is behind and press forward towards what God has for us.

We must trust in God's sovereignty and seek His will for our lives, rather than holding onto past relationships that may distract us from His purpose for us.

Is it OK to marry ex?

Be cautious when considering marrying an ex.

While it may seem tempting to rekindle an old flame, we must remember that there were likely reasons why the relationship did not work out in the first place.

What is the Holy Spirit saying about the idea?

Is there peace in your heart?

We must consider the potential heartache and drama that may arise from marrying an ex.

It is important to seek guidance from the Holy Spirit in this matter and to carefully evaluate the situation before making any decisions.

It is important to prioritize the will of God and seek His guidance in all matters, including relationships and marriage.

Trust in the power of God to guide you towards the right path and make wise decisions that align with His will.

Does God still love you after divorce?

Yes, God's love for you remains constant even after divorce.

Nothing can separate you from God's love.

The Holy Spirit is there to comfort and guide you through this difficult time.

Remember that divorce is not part of God's plan, but He understands the complexities of human relationships and the pain that can come with them.

God's love is not based on our circumstances or actions, but on His unchanging character.

He is always ready to extend forgiveness, grace, and healing to those who seek it.

Trust in the Holy Spirit to lead you towards a new season of growth and renewal, and know that God's love for you remains steadfast, no matter what.
