Prayer To Overcome Struggling With The Same Sins Over and Over Again

Welcome to the prayer to overcome struggling with the same sins over and over again.

This is a prayer I’ve put together where I would like to pray for anyone within the sound of my voice.

All I ask you to do, is to agree with me as I pray, and together we will seek our Heavenly Father.

Let us pray…

Heavenly Father, we gather together and come into agreement in the wonderful and powerful Name of Jesus Christ.

Where two or more are gathered there You’ll be in the midst of us and anything we agree upon as touching You will surely do.

Father in Jesus Name, there is no distance in the spirit and we thank You for the person I am praying for who desires a prayer to overcome struggling with the same sins over and over again.

Father, they want to please You. They want to live for Your glory!

They want to walk in the spirit and mortify the deeds of the flesh!

They don’t want the flesh to have a superior role in their life that it has had in the past.

With the help of the Holy Spirit within them, they can say ‘no’ to the flesh and resist its demand to control their life.

This is why You instructed in The Book of Romans to submit their bodies and renew their minds to Your instructions and resist their flesh.

Lord, together in prayer, we are seeking You for help and strength. They are tired of struggling with the same old sins again and again.

They are drawing a line in the sand and asking You to help them see the truth about what needs to change in their life.

Please give them the courage to stand up and resist their flesh in Jesus Name!

Then please help them to walk out living in the spirit and help them to grab hold of the new nature You are wanting to release inside of them!

We decree and declare that they are no longer dominated and controlled by the flesh.

We decree and declare that they walk in the power of the awesome Holy Spirit.

We bind and break all strongholds the flesh has tried to put on them in Jesus Name. We declare freedom and deliverance in Jesus Name!

Praise You that thanks to Jesus there is therefore no condemnation for them!

Thank You that they are careful to read their Bible and to hear the truth that the Holy Spirit wants to show them from what they read.

This sows Your Word in their heart and You bring about the harvest of walking in the spirit. Glory!

When they become aware of areas that need to be changed, they quickly ask You to release Your power to supernaturally transform them.

Glory!

Every single day the person I am praying for runs to You in order to find effective and permanent solutions for the sin and temptation that tries to pull them off the righteous path You have for them.

And every single time You always provide a means of escape so that they can walk and live right in Your sight!

We believe and receive everything we’ve prayed and give You glory in advance for this prayer is answered!
