Friday Morning Prayers and Blessings

Friday morning prayer is an important time spent with the Lord as the week comes to a close. It is time in God's presence where we can be refreshed and refilled with His Spirit.

Thank God Friday Prayer

Heavenly Father, thank You for blessing me with another Friday. I ask for Your guidance today and throughout the upcoming weekend, that I would be mindful of the words I speak and our actions towards others.

Lord, help me to stay focused on what matters most - our relationship with You.

Help me to remember that my days are numbered, and give me the courage to do what is right in Your eyes.

Give me wisdom and understanding to make godly decisions and a clear conscience as I go about my day. Help me to resist temptation when it comes the traps of the enemy.

I trust that You will protect me from evil.

Fill me up with Your Holy Spirit so that I can experience Your divine presence throughout the day and be reminded of Your love.

Remind me of Your goodness and grace so that no matter what happens today or in the future, I have an unwavering trust in You.

I humbly thank You for all that You have done for me already and for all that You will yet do in the future.

Heavenly Father, I thank You for the gift of this new Friday morning and the opportunity to draw near to You.

Thank You for Your faithfulness, Your goodness, and Your love. I ask that You would fill me with a sense of peace as I go throughout this day.

I pray that You would grant me strength and courage in the face of any challenges or difficult decisions I may face. Help us to remain focused on what is right and true, even when my circumstances seem uncertain or confusing.

May Your Holy Spirit guide my steps today, so that I can accomplish all that needs to be done with joy and excellence. Remind me to always seek after Your kingdom first in everything I do - from the mundane tasks to the more meaningful ones.

I am grateful for Your presence in my life Lord. Help me to never take for granted the blessing of spending time with You each morning.

Friday Protection Prayer

Dear Lord,

On this beautiful Friday morning I come to You seeking Your protection and guidance for the day ahead of me. I thank You for Your faithfulness, Your goodness, and Your mercy which endures forever.

I ask that You cover me with the armor of God so that any darkness or distress in my life will be dispelled by Your Holy presence.

Grant me divine strength to overcome obstacles and clarity of mind to make godly decisions throughout the day. Help me to remain steadfast in all things, knowing that You are always in control.

Your Word teaches me, “The Lord gives strength to his people; the Lord blesses his people with peace” (Psalm 29:11). And so I pray for an abundance of both strength and peace today.

Please provide restorative sleep each night and refreshing energy each morning so I can focus on what lies ahead without feeling overwhelmed or exhausted.

Your perfect love casts out all fear (1 John 4:18). So help me not to worry or succumb to anxiety, but instead trust wholeheartedly in You as I go through each task today.

Let my heart be filled with joy as I work towards achieving the goals that You have set before me. May each moment of this day be one full of thanksgiving and praise as a testament to how great You are!
