Daily Prayer To Talk Less and Become a Better Listener
Welcome to the prayer to talk less and become a better listener.
This is a prayer I’ve put together where I would like to pray for anyone within the sound of my voice.
All I ask you to do, is to agree with me as I pray, and together we will seek our Heavenly Father.
Let us pray…
Heavenly Father, we gather together and come into agreement in the wonderful and powerful Name of Jesus Christ.
Where two or more are gathered there You’ll be in the midst of us and anything we agree upon as touching You will surely do.
Father in Jesus Name, there is no distance in the spirit and we thank You for the person I am praying for who desires a prayer to talk less and become a better listener.
Father, they are raising their hand today admitting that they need to listen more often.
Please forgive them for interrupting, talking over, and simply not listening to others.
It’s time for them to start quiet down and carefully listening.
Perhaps that is why You gave them 2 ears and one mouth.
They recognize that this needs to change in their life.
We come against anything that would distract them from this right now and rebuke it in Jesus Name.
We rebuke the habit of not listening!
Lord, please help them to stay focused on what is being spoken to them before responding, whether that be people and even You.
Help them to take in what was said and to respond after listening thoroughly. Help them to change.

We decree and declare that they are quick to hear what others are saying and slow to speak!
Yes, no more interrupting. Hallelujah!
We decree and declare that with Your help they are excelling at listening to others and to You.
Thank You that with Your help they are improving with leaps and bounds.
The person I am praying for is an impressive listener and as a result, people do not recognize them for it because it is such a dramatic change!
We believe and receive everything we’ve prayed and give You glory in advance for this prayer is answered!
In the wonderful and precious Name of Jesus we pray, amen.
