Prayer To Stop Lying and Get Divine Help To Be More Truthful

Welcome to the prayer to stop lying and get divine help to be more truthful.
This is a prayer I’ve put together where I would like to pray for anyone within the sound of my voice.
All I ask you to do, is to agree with me as I pray, and together we will seek our Heavenly Father.
Let us pray…
Heavenly Father, we gather together and come into agreement in the wonderful and powerful Name of Jesus Christ.
Where two or more are gathered there You’ll be in the midst of us and anything we agree upon as touching You will surely do.
Father in Jesus Name, there is no distance in the spirit and we thank You for the person I am praying for who desires a prayer to stop lying and get Your divine help to be more truthful.

Father, they raise their hand to You and openly admit that they have embellished the facts and exaggerated a number of times.
They ask for forgiveness and repent before You.
This is not acceptable in Your sight and they know it.
They take responsibility for what they presented to other people falsely.
We ask You to help them to stop being dishonest in Jesus Name.
Please help them to stop making excuses for this dishonest behaviour.
Lord, they want to stand before You unashamed of the life they have lived.
They desire to be honest and forthright with You, others, and themselves.
They know they ultimately control what comes forth from their mouth but with Your power working within them through the Holy Spirit, they can control their tongue.
Without You, it is impossible. But with You, all things are possible to them if they believe.
Father, the person I am praying for needs Your help to bring about a real change in this area of their life.

We decree and declare that they speak the truth and that they do not embellish facts or speak lies in Jesus Name.
We decree and declare that when people talk to them, they stick to the facts and they do not exaggerate the truth or twist the facts.
Thank You that with Your help, they can be rest assured that they are honest about themselves and the situations in which they find themselves.
Truth prevails in their life!
Praise You that they keep their nose out of other people's business!
Yes, they focus and keep their focus on their life and the issues that have to do with them and their areas of responsibility.
Since You are their Helper and Your grace is working mightily in them, the person I am praying for is becoming more and more truthful and honest every single day!
We believe and receive everything we’ve prayed and give You glory in advance for this prayer is answered!
In the wonderful and precious Name of Jesus we pray, amen.

Proverbs 19:5 - A false witness shall not be unpunished, and [he that] speaketh lies shall not escape.
I have tried to stop lying so many times that I am beginning to believe that Satan has won this fight because sometimes I lie before I know what I have done and it not only hurts other people but my spirit also.
Thank you for sharing your struggle. I want you to know that if you have given your life to Jesus Christ (Romans 10:8-10) then you are a new creation in God’s eyes (2 Corinthians 5:17, 21). You are a child of God and there is nothing you can do that will ever separate His love from you (Romans 89:38-39). Through Christ, you are righteous and have right standing before God. You can run into His throne room any time you like and jump into His arms (Hebrews 10:19). God has placed within you the fruit of self control (Galatians 5:22-23). With His help, you can overcome lying. When you see yourself on the inside as God sees you, the outside will follow. Please read the scriptures I’ve noted. They will encourage and bless you. I am praying for you and I’m here to pray for you whenever you ask. ? – Daniel

I lie so often and sometimes it’s for the silliest things. My lies are destroying my family and my relationship with my husband. I am very forgetful and many times I am lying because I cannot remember simple things that happened just a few minutes ago. My husband has to keep track of everything happening in the house and in our family life as I forget things all the time. I see this in my 5-year-old boy now and it is scaring me. I do not want him to be like this. My husband has caught me lying so many times that now he does not believe me and I do not blame him for that. Allow me to speak the truth. May the Holy Spirit control my tongue and may the peace and joy of truthfulness prevail over my life and my relationships with everyone around me. I pray for my son too. May he continue to walk and live in truth and I pray I will be a good role model to him. I pray for a good memory, clear mind, focus, and truth in my life. Please lift me up in your prayers. Please lift up all of us to live in truth so we can live in the light as God intended us to do!

Praying for you right now. – Daniel
i looked up this prayer for myself, because i lie more often than not, sometimes i have every intention on telling the truth, and i’ve lied so long that maybe there’s no truth in me. i have hope that i can overcome this struggle and rebuke against the devil, because i’ve let him win for far too long, but your prayer, and you please pray it over me, daily if possible, because today, was the day, i crossed every line within myself and every line with the people who have nothing but good intentions towards and for me. i oftentimes want to feel bad for myself, or i ask myself over and over again what’s wrong with me, or why it can’t just die over night. today, i lost the love of my life over a lie and some deceit that could have most definitely been prevented, and i am really struggling, i read your prayer, but in first person, speaking gods forgiveness over me, because i am of him. i wonder what spirits is inside of me fighting against the Lord, and i know its the enemy, because sometimes i feel as if i cant shake him. sir, i am really struggling with lies and deceit and i need prayers from you, and all your pray warriors to rebuke this lying spirit from my body and rebuke the devil from my life. i know he attacks the one of god, but in some sense ive let him win. so i really ask for prayers and i am very appreciative of this website, i came across the verse Romans 12:9 which states, “love must be sincere. hate what is evil; cling to what is good” and from there i had a whole demeanor change, and i automatically flipped to Romans chapter one in my bible, and then started asking google for prayers agains lies and deceit. not knowing what i would find i found this, and seeing other people having the same struggles as myself, i feel not so alone and brave enough to share a piece of my story with you. thank you in advanced!
Sincerely, Makinly Tucker. <3
Praying for you. – Daniel
